Hester Groot<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Hester Groot is a linguist who received her bachelor’s degree from University College Utrecht and a Research master’s degree from Leiden University. In her studies, she has primarily focused on historical sociolinguistics, working with historical Dutch as well as Scots, Irish English, and more. Other fields of interest include the linguistics of computer mediated communication (CMC) and sign linguistics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Alma Strakova<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Alma Strakova is a fourth-year student of the BA English Language and Culture programme at Leiden University. She has completed a minor in Digital Humanities. In her studies, she has enjoyed participating in more creatively driven courses, such as American Film, as well as more research-driven courses focusing on sociolinguistics. In particular, she enjoys working in interdisciplinary areas, where she can combine her passion for humanities with her interest in digital media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Dr. Mo Gordon<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Mo Gordon is a lecturer at the Centre for Linguistics. Her research focus is historical sociolinguistics, and her interests lie particularly in Early\/Late Modern English, as well the Anglicization of Scots across various social layers of Scotland in the Late Modern English period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Dr. Jelena Prokic<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Jelena Prokic is an Assistant Professor at the Leiden University Centre for Digital Humanities.
